We made reservations online and requested a pull-thru. Check-in is done by picking up the phone in the laundry room. It rings directly at the hotel’s front desk. They answered the phone right away and we were given a pull-thru. The RV Park office appears permanently closed so calling from the laundry room is the usual way to check in here. Bring something to write with before you call - they give you the codes for wifi, showers and ice machine over the phone, as well as instructions about checking out and getting your $50 deposit back that they automatically charge to your credit card. They also add $10 per night for hotel tax/resort fee. It seems that they charge you the same fees/tax they charge for hotel rooms. They do give you a Good Sam discount, tho. There’s no dog park, no playground and the pool is in the hotel. It’s a nice park with long, wide and very level cement pads. Interior roads are cement. Grass is between sites. Each site has a picnic table, grill and a trash can. Trash is picked up daily. Shuttle is available to take you to casino but it’s not a far walk and the area is well-lit at night. Wifi was very weak/non-existent. Cable was ok. Finally, the water in the park is brown. We called maintenance about it and were told it’s city water and ok to drink and it’s the same water the hotel has. But I drank bottled water instead. We ate dinner at the casino buffet (all you can eat crab legs) and that was ok except for the smoke that permeated the dining room from the casino. Hotel ventilation system is awful.
